BDB Facilitates Nearly 100,000 Square Feet of Expansions Through Public-Private Partnerships

Palm Beach County, FL (May 27, 2025) — The Business Development Board (BDB) of Palm Beach County (BDB) announced the expansion of two innovation-focused companies—Ideal Nutrition and G.O.A.T. Foods—totaling nearly 100,000 square feet of new operational space and bringing 300 high-quality jobs to the region. These expansions were made possible through collaborative public-private partnerships and reflect Palm Beach County’s continued commitment to fostering a forward-looking, innovation-driven economy.

G.O.A.T. Foods:

G.O.A.T. Foods, a headquarters overseeing a snack empire of eight brands hosted on high-tech digital storefronts, has secured a 68,000-square-foot facility in Unincorporated Palm Beach County to accommodate its continued growth.

  • Located at 205 Sansburys Way, West Palm Beach, FL, the expansion will create 150 new jobs and retain 75 existing positions

  • Jonathan Packer, Co-Founder of G.O.A.T. Foods, brings a legacy of retail innovation to the company’s digital-first strategy, running the family-owned business.

  • A few of their companies include: Licorice.comPretzels.comCaramels.comChocolate.comTaffy.comCupcakes.comTruffles.com, and Cookies.com.

  • The BDB facilitated expedited permitting in partnership with the Palm Beach County’s  Planning, Zoning & Building Department along with several local connections.

  • Partnership support came from Scott Helms of Helms Development and Christopher Thomson of Cushman & Wakefield

Ideal Nutrition:

Ideal Nutrition, a Palm Beach County-based company known for its innovation and scalable operations of a healthy meal delivery service, is opening a 43,000-square-foot distribution center on Southern Boulevard—marking its third major facility and a significant milestone in its growth trajectory.

  • The expansion will result in 150 new jobs in advanced logistics, operations, technology and management

  • The company is making a $2 million capital investment in the new location at 6017 Southern Blvd., West Palm Beach

  • Founded in 2016, Ideal Nutrition already operates a corporate headquarters in downtown West Palm Beach and an additional manufacturing facility on Haverhill Road exceeding 40,000 sq. ft.

  • Founder and CEO Wolfgang Brunet is a graduate of both Palm Beach State College and Florida Atlantic University.

  • The BDB facilitated expedited permitting in partnership with the Palm Beach County’s  Planning, Zoning & Building Department, workforce development assistance through CareerSource Palm Beach County, as well as business collaborations with Colliers, CBRE, and Prologis.
